The other night I had a really bad nightmare, and in it I was walking through the woods when I looked up to see these two gigantic towers. As I got closer these weird light things flickered on it loud electric snapping sounds. I really don't know what the towers do or exactly are but I felt like making them and showing what I saw from my perspective. Thus how dark it is, I didn't want to change anything in the way I saw it, even the rough details on the towers themselves.
This was made rather quick and I know its not perfect, but I'm not exactly blessed with time when I'm sick and need rest. It was made and modeled in 3dsmax, rendered in maxwell with a simulens camera. Most time was spent making the lightmaps for those weird...emitters, the lightmap had to be built as an HDR file in order for maxwell to accurately calculate the physics of it. And that is not noise on the buildings, its a very very rough material as I saw it.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
